New owners at Hanko Logistics

The logistics company Oy Hangö-Hanko Logistics Ab got new owners on 1.4.2024.Nordic New Mobility Consulting Oy and its owner Patrick Holm became the majority owner of the logistics company. Patrick Holm has worked for more than 20 years in various positions in the automotive industry in Finland, Sweden and Germany. Sture Holm, a business consultant in the transport sector, also joined the company as a new co-owner. The sellers of Hanko Logistics were Peter Wickman, Ralf Grahn and MHL-Trans. Peter Wickman remained a minority shareholder.
Hanko Logistics will continue to operate as before, but with the changes in ownership it has even better opportunities to develop, for example through the extensive networks of new owners here and abroad, says Bo Isaksson, who continues as CEO.
Patrick Holm is Executive Advisor to Juna Technologies in Germany, specialising in Truck-as-a-Service business ownership. He has many years of experience in the European vehicle industry, where he has been CEO of the electric truck company Ferronordic in Germany and previously also worked for companies such as Veho and the insurance company Volvo in Sweden. Patrick is a board member of trailer and body builder Ekeri Oy.

Hanko Logistics has been operating in the transport industry for more than 20 years and has experienced great changes during its history. The company has managed change through hard work and significant adjustments. Today, the transport sector is again facing major changes. Sustainability and emissions issues, digitalisation and automation, and a turbulent market situation are creating major new demands and challenges for the sector. I hope to contribute to the positive development of Hanko Logistics in these challenging times for the transport sector," he adds.
Through a change of ownership, Hanko Logistics will see a change of board. Patrick Holm, Sture Holm and Sebastian Wickman form the new board. Sture Holm will become the new Chairman of the Board. Over the past ten years he has worked in various roles in the transport industry, both as an advisor and in board positions at Ahola Transport, Powder-Trans and Transmar in Finland and Tempcon in Sweden, among others. Prior to that, Sture Holm held management positions in the international steel industry, responsible for both communications and marketing.
Hanko Logistics' offices are located in Hanko. The company specialises in providing transport services, consisting mainly of trailer and container loads to and from the port of Hanko and also to other Finnish ports. Hanko Logistics has its own trucks as well as trucks from its partners in Uusimaa and elsewhere in Finland. In total, the company carries out almost 10 000 transports per year.
