Increased transport volumes and new vehicles at Hanko Logistics
For Hanko Logistics, which has recently taken on new owners, 2025 has started well. In the first quarter, transport volumes increased significantly compared to the same period last year. The growth seems to be continuing and this has allowed the company to expand its operations with new vehicles and new subcontractors.
In early May, the company introduced a new Volvo FH 6x2 truck, which will become part of the company's own fleet. The truck was handed over by Volvo Truck Center salesman Henrik Heinonen (left) to Hanko Logistics co-owner and chairman of the board Sture Holm (centre) and driving coordinator Kim Wikberg.
The increased volumes have led to Hanko Logistics also starting new transport partners in recent months, in addition to the almost ten transport partners that have already been working with the company in the past.
The current and future volume growth means that Hanko Logistics can offer business opportunities to new transport partners, mainly in trailer and container traffic via the Port of Hanko, says Sture Holm, Chairman of the Board.
Oy Hanko Logistics Ab's premises are located in Hanko. The company specialises in providing transport services, consisting mainly of trailer and container transport to and from the port of Hanko, but also to other Finnish ports. Hanko Logistics has its own trucks and also works with a number of transport partners. In total, more than 10 000 transports are carried out each year.
